Feedback Crew presents; Producers Contest

All tracks must be original tracks. no copyright material alowed in the contest. All Tracks will be judged by the Feedback crew. You enter the contest by uploading into the contest area. All tracks will considered, but only ONE artist will win. Winner receives a one EP contract for the GZP label. Judging will be final on May 13th. Winner will be notified here on the GZP. The feedback crew is a service we at the GZP provide for free to all its members. These are industry professionals with lots of experience behind them as well as Releases and Mastering experience. Judging will be based upon over all flow of the track, creative use of sounds, mixdown, and commercial viability.Good luck to all, its always a tough contest on the GZP.

Remix contest featuring the winning track from the Producers Face off. Distroker amazing track \”sonar\” will be released on out label and you could be right along side him as an official remixer. Download the stems, remix it in any genre, then post it here, in full, and the GZP team will take care of the rest. Voting will be considered as the winner is decided , but the final decision is up to the GZP team. No using other peoples samples that you do not have permission to use, and you surely know that all works should be mastered before entering. Don\’t have someone to do your Mastering yet? send the track to gzpteam@thegzp.com and we will post the mastered version of your track for you. If you would like to purchase mastering from the GZP team, contact us for the pricing as it changes depending on how many tracks you need done. Cool? Boom!

Featuring the Single “I Don’t Care”, From our very own Igness, this contests has the usual rules such as the tracks must not contain clips or samples that you do not have the rights to publish, Original work, any Genre, must be a GZP member to enter.

The top 3 runners up will be considered for release on the EP along side the winner and the original artist. The Winner will also receive a Contract with N/A records for one EP release. Good Luck to all! Big ups to Igness for giving back to the community he came from! Thank you!

Not so Traditional Producers Faceoff

In this installment of the GZP Producers Face Off (PFO) we are going to ask all of you excellent producers to a) Use the loops provided to create a track. b) this track should have broken beats. That is not to say it must fit any particular genre except that it cannot be a four on the floor beat. Cool? There will be four winners, 2 decided by popular vote and 2 by judging. All four winners will be featured on the upcoming GZP Release. The top winner as decided by popular vote will receive a loop package from Loopmasters, and all winners also receive a GZP t-shirt.

Entries will be allowed only from GZP members, and all entries must be submitted by Nov. 10th 2011. There is no financial reward implied from the release of the winning tracks.

You have 3 weeks from Friday, August 26th – Monday, September 26th 2011 to construct your remix which will feature on the “Real Hustler E.P” scheduled for release early 2012 and will be playlisted on the weekly Sumting New show on the notorious Sub.FM.

London specifically, Brixton! it’s gonna be a night of wicked Dubstep in the main room and a nice blend of other sounds int he second room, including our very own DJ Corvus! We are already getting heaps of response from the Brits about this Party and it is sure to go off in a big way. There are some very big names playing this party including Cotti, Chef, B2B and More. GZP/BUBBLECTRO REMIX COMPETITION

We are delighted to be co-running this remix competition with GZP, in which members are invited to remix Planet Voyager by ElectroCelt, with the winning remix to be featured on the Strange Elements album due for release in June. Although there is no financial reward to be gained from this, you’ll benefit from having your re-imagining of his song on an album that we are confident will sell very well – a great way to get your name known.

You have two weeks (deadline June 1st) to submit your remix, using the files, in the remix pack found above, and your own talents and sounds, after which we’ll be whittling down the entries to a shortlist before voting is opened up to the public and GZP members. At the end of that, GZP and Bubblectro will choose the winner from the top three.

What we are looking for: in a word, creativity; musical expression that complements ElectroCelt’s original, found in the player above, and which reflects your talents. Consider it a re-imagining of Planet Voyager, in your own style.
